Parking, Shuttles & Directions

PARKING IS FREE!!!

Plan to arrive early. Signs will direct you from University Parkway onto campus and to the designated parking lots. Parking Services staff will direct traffic and assist guests with parking needs. For further information please call Parking Services at (909) 537-5912.

Tram Service

Parking Services will again be providing a Tram to transport guests from the parking lots to Coussoulis Arena for this year’s Commencement Ceremonies.

The Tram’s route  will run  from the east end of  Coussoulis Arena, along the perimeter  of  parking lots G and H, across Coyote Dr. to  the perimeter of parking lots E and F and the Tram will then return back to the east end of  Coussoulis Arena.

Parking Services staff will be on hand to direct pedestrians to designated Tram stops.
The Tram will repeat its circuit, prior to and after each Commencement Ceremony.

Graduate and Faculty/Staff Parking in Parking Structure 2

Parking Services would like to encourage graduates along with faculty and staff members to park in Parking Structure 2 (The East Parking Garage) just north of the HPE / Coussoulis Arena complex. Parking Structure 2 can be accessed by entering the campus at East Campus Dr / Little Mountain Dr. Parking in Parking Structure 2 will ensure that when your ceremonies have concluded, you can leave the campus with minimal inconvenience or delay.

We strongly recommend that all other visitors enter the campus at Coyote Dr. where they will be directed where to park and how to exit the campus at the ceremonies conclusion.

Disabled Parking

Upon entering the campus, vehicles with disabled persons will be directed to park in reserved areas, in lots E and G.   Disabled guests will also be provided shuttle service, manned by the staff from Student with Disabilities. Several shuttles for the disabled will be available both at Coyote Dr. and Parking Structure 2.  

Parking privileges for DP PLACARDS, DP PLATES, DV PLATES, and CSUSB disabled parking passes:  Designated rows of Parking Lots E and G will be available for those guests with Disabled Person (DP) Parking Placards or Plates, Disabled Veterans (DV) Placards or Plates and CSUSB disabled parking passes.  Carts will be located curbside at the top of Coyote Drive, and will be available to transport guests to and from the arena.  Look for the Services to Students with Disabilities (SSD) booth or tent.  Please have your DP or DV Parking Placard or CSUSB disabled parking pass available to show Parking Services staff when you arrive on campus. If you need a temporary permit for that day, please contact the Commencement Office at (909) 537-5024.  Please note that cart service is also available to any guest who might find the walk to the arena difficult.
